Our Associates

Jon Morgan started his practice in 1989. He partnered with Lew Shore to form Shore Morgan Financial Advisors in 1995. With over 30 years financial experience and his Series 7 and 63 registrations, Jon’s passion is to help individuals and business owners work toward their strategic financial planning goals. Today, as a Principal of Shore Morgan Young, he continues to use his in-depth knowledge and experience to help create appropriate strategies for his clients and oversee a multi-disciplinary team of financial planning professionals.

Jon received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, and is active in many community organizations. He is an avid cyclist and enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

As the Chief Compliance Officer and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Adam leads the Compliance Department of Private Wealth Strategies, L.L.C. in developing, implementing, and monitoring the firm's policies and procedures as well as training staff on these various policies and procedures.  

He also is an integral member of the Financial Planning Team who assists clients by helping create, present, implement, and monitor their comprehensive financial plans. He became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner in 2020. He also holds his Series 7 FINRA General Securities registration, his Series 66 FINRA designation, and his Ohio Life, Accident and Health Insurance License.

Adam joined Shore Morgan Young in 2017. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. In his spare time, Adam enjoys spending time with his loved ones and pets (our firm's Chief Morale Officer), anything involving the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and is an avid road cyclist. Adam is on the board of several professional organizations such as The New Albany Young Professionals organization and the Financial Planning Association of Central Ohio as the Government Relations Chair. 

Mikel leads the investment team as our Chief Investment Officer by preparing client reviews, thoroughly analyzing portfolios and investments, and communicating our analyses with clients. He holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations, his Ohio Life, Accident and Health Insurance License, and is an CFA® Charterholder, CFA Institute.

Mikel joined Shore Morgan Young in 2017. He graduated from Ohio University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Minor in Digital Storytelling and Screenwriting. In his spare time, Mikel enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exercising, writing, and going to concerts.

As a Client Service Specialist, Nicholas is responsible for account management, client onboarding, assisting with client inquires, facilitating funds transfers, and collaborating with our clients’ insurance companies. He currently holds his Ohio Life, Accident and Health Insurance License and is pursuing his FINRA Series 7 registration.

Nicholas joined Shore Morgan Young in 2021. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology, majoring in Consumer and Family Financial Services, and a minor in General Business. Nicholas earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America organization and enjoys the company of his close friends and family. In his free time, his hobbies include improving his cooking abilities and spending time in the outdoors hunting, hiking and camping.
